Cobb’s right. The powerful iconography of the Obama campaign has been turned.
It’s Alinsky Rule #5 put to good use. The icons are used to convey ridicule. The have the same power to create as they have to destroy. And destruction works with entropy to make the destruction more efficient. The opposition doesn’t have to expend resources first creating an image upon which they can hang their epithets. Barry’s campaign provided the vessel by which the righties can distribute their anti-Obama message
It’s also Rule #12. This icon is personal. It’s not like some “Contract for America” or even a Federal spending program. This is ridicule of a particular man’s character and competence.
