Wingnuts Invent Another Whopper

Those fascist crazies are at it again. The intertubes are buzzing with claims that the current President is going to deliver a speech to every schoolkid country. The wackos say the speech is part of a coordinated effort to shape young minds.

There’s evidence posted claiming the address will be preceded by planned activities to help prepare the kiddies to receive Barry’s vision for them:

Teachers can ask students to imagine being the President delivering a speech to all of the students in the United States.

What would you tell students? What can students do to help in our schools? Teachers can chart ideas about what they would say.

Why is it important that we listen to the President and other elected officials, like the mayor, senators, members of congress, or the governor? Why is what they say important?

A system of follow-ups will help the Presidential program root and grow:

As students listen to the speech, they could think about the following:
What is the President trying to tell me?
What is the President asking me to do?
What new ideas and actions is the President challenging me to think about?

Students can record important parts of the speech where the President is asking them to do something. Students might think about:

What specific job is he asking me to do? Is he asking anything of anyone else? Teachers? Principals? Parents? The American people?

This effort brings proven “Axis of Evil” propaganda techniques to American classrooms. It is an attempt to familiarize children with the face of their “Dear Leader”:

This is the first time an American president has spoken directly to the nation's school children about persisting and succeeding in school.

According to the conspiracy theory, the kids must study hard, not so much for their own fulfillment, but because the students have a, “shared responsibility and commitment.” “[P]reparing our children for work and for life,” is a matter of national survival. “No other task is more critical to our economic future and our social progress.”

If the birth certificate controversy was on the fringe, this time the wackos have pushed over the line. They’re not just questioning Barry’s personal history, they’re actually accusing the President of attempting mind control. Wingnuts have no shame.
